We really never thought we'd ever fill our Pet Partner workshop which we set a general limit of 20 participants.
Well, we just taught a class of 28 individuals who are passionate about Animal Assisted Therapy.
Thanks to St. Luke's Hospital and Chris Montross for fostering and promoting such a positive relationship with the community.
This is a top-notch program and we are looking forward to teaching our next workshop.

Just wanted to let you folks know what people do with your hard work and donations, here is someone in Cedar Rapids listing her dog on Craigslist, for $250, if no one paid by yesterday she was going to have it put down.
This is sickening and I really hope you ban this person from future work with your company. Such a waste of donations.

Thanks for the post. While I will follow up to see if this person was in any way in touch with Paws & Effect, my initial suspicion is that he/she is referring to another organization using the "PAWS" acronym/name.
The listing for the Shih Tzu is no longer on Craigslist, which expressly prohibits the sale of pets; one could argue whether the original listing was for a "re-housing" offer or not.
"Household pets of any kind including dogs, cats, primates, cage birds, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, fish. Re-homing with small adoption fee OK. Pet animal parts, blood, or fluids are also not permitted, including stud/breeding service."
